Nutrient Engine’s 14 Day Phosphorus Forecast provides the total loss of Phosphorus in pounds per acre in the next 14 days for the field. The 14 Day Forecast also provides the status of Phosphorus that is currently available to the plant (Figure 1). This is indicated by the color coded status card which presents green for “ok”, yellow for “adequate”, and red for “Stressed”. A yellow or green card indicates that there is still plant available Phosphorus for the actively growing crop. The red card indicates that the plant is being stressed due to no current plant available forms of Phosphorus. The information provided by Nutrient Engine is highly dependent on the Fertilization events that have been entered into Field Story.
